Job Overview

Figma is growing its Brand Studio with a web-focused Brand Designer who will own the UX and visual design of the company's marketing websites. The role sits at the intersection of web design, software storytelling, and brand — inventive, brand-forward, accessible experiences taken from early concept through prototype to production. It is a full-time role that can be held from one of Figma's U.S. hubs or remotely anywhere in the United States.

About the Role

You will up-level some of Figma's most important surfaces — its marketing websites — in brand-forward, novel, and unexpected ways, showing what Figma's products can do rather than just telling. Working across Brand and Marketing, you will shape everything from site structure and navigation to launch, campaign, and event experiences, and help evolve the web design system that lets the team ship quality work at speed. The employer emphasizes expert visual and UX instincts, a deep curiosity about Figma's products, a point of view on product storytelling for the web, comfort taking ideas from sketch to working prototype alongside web engineers, and a deep understanding of accessibility.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive best-in-class UX and visual design across Figma's marketing websites, from concept through prototype and production
  • Tell Figma's software story on the web in compelling, inventive ways, partnering with Product Marketing and Content Strategy
  • Prototype and develop new web patterns and interactions, partnering with web engineers to bring them to life
  • Design brand-forward web experiences for launches, campaigns, and events that feel novel and unexpected while staying accessible and performant
  • Shape site structure, information architecture, and navigation in service of the content strategy
  • Evolve and contribute to the web design system, including templates and components

Requirements

  • 5+ years designing websites, with a portfolio showing creative range, strong visual, interaction, and typographic craft
  • Fluent in designing, prototyping, and building with Figma, with curiosity about new design, build, and AI tools
  • Strong systems thinking grounded in information architecture, UX and accessibility best practices, with experience evolving design systems
  • Experience using research and data to run experiments and drive decisions
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive concepts from start to finish independently
